Before handing over a real packet
- Create a dated readable copy using the app’s supported print or HTML-export workflow. Confirm that the records and attachments you intend to provide are present.
- Keep original receipts, approvals, and estate documents. Supply an index of their locations.
- Ask the attorney which originals are needed and whether to use USB, email, or a secure-upload method.
- Preserve a separate protected backup and its password. If sensitive sale history blocks an unprotected export, follow the app’s safeguards and ask about a suitable alternative.
- Arrange access and authority for illness or incapacity as well as death.
